Small issue with the PCR website — it seems that Internet Explorer 8 users are seeing vertical lines instead of product thumbnails. We’re on it and will have this fixed ASAP. In the meantime, please view the PDF catalogs, or else access the site with a different browser, such as Firefox.

We’re very happy to be taking the wraps off the totally new and redesigned PCR Distributing website, which we’ve been working on for several weeks. The new website has some great features which we think will make it easier and more enjoyable than ever to interact with our company and find out about the great Japan-related products we offer.
As you can see if you’ve browsed the website a bit, we’ve totally renewed the wholesale site, adding much improved graphics and a smoother layout that’s easier on the eyes. We’ve done a lot more than that, though: we’re now supporting some great features that will make it much easier for you to choose which of our products you want to carry for your retail store, and see the new products as they pop onto the site more efficiently.
One big change is, there are now two PCR websites for you to choose from. PCRdist.com still has all the unique kanji and Domo-kun T-shirts and PC dating-sim games and the 18+ manga that we distribute, as usual. Our new site is PCRstyle.com, which will only feature the family-friendly products like our T-shirts, hoodies, hats and PG-rated anime games from Japan. The two sites are mirrors of each other — if your business carries both the “PG” and “R” products PCR offers, you can view the PCRdist.com site, but if you only deal with the apparel and other PG-rated products, go to PCRstyle.com!
Another improvement to the site is full support for RSS feeds. If you don’t know about RSS yet, this is a great time to learn. Basically, all the products are “published” to feed URLs that you can register in an RSS reader such as Google Reader and never miss any new products when they’re added. When viewing a product category, click the RSS icon at the top of the page to view the automatic RSS data. I personally have found RSS to be one of the great benefits of the Internet, allowing me to easily follow the blogs, news sites and other information sources I need every day, and we’re glad that we can offer great support for this technology for you.
We’ve also created two blogs to allow us to better supply you with information, one for each site. This will allow us to give you useful information and advice on our wholesale products, and update you on what we’ve been doing. Since we have so many T-shirts, hoodies and game products in the pipe, we hope you’ll hit our wholesale blog (and will save it in your RSS reader, if you are using one) so you can keep up with our offerings. We’ll post tends we’ve been noticing, answers to questions we’re hearing a lot and so on. Access the PCRdist blog or PCRstyle blog (only “PG” related product discussion), and of course, it’s a great idea to add the blog to your RSS feed so updates are never missed.
We’re also starting a Twitter account, again to give you a new way to keep up with what we’re doing and easily ask questions of Charlie, who handles the wholesale orders in San Diego. If you use Twitter, just click this link and follow us. If you aren’t on Twitter yet, maybe this is a good chance to give it a try?
Of course, you don’t have to browse the PCR websites manually: we also have optional PDF-based catalogs listing all of our T-shirt, manga, game and other products. These catalogs are updated automatically when new products are added to the site, so they’ll always be fresh and accurate.
The launching of this website represents the first step in the many changes and improvements we’ll be making for you in the coming months, and we hope you like the new changes. We’re going to be bringing out some really awesome new T-shirts, PC dating-sim games and other awesome products as the holiday season approaches, and the new website will help make this an awesome Christmas for everyone!
